Regina Lawyers Provide Last Line of Criminal Defense

Noah Evanchuk and his colleague, Brendan Pyle, are proud proponents of the right of accused persons to a fair trial and a vigorous defense.  They are also vocal advocates for the idea that the best way to build safer communities is to tackle the underlying causes of crime.

In a recent media interview, Noah questioned the logic of a criminal justice system that spends hundreds of millions dollars trying and incarcerating criminals but does little to build safer communities and prevent crime. " As soon as this person gets charged with a crime and they are sentenced, all of a sudden they have access to all of these services.Wouldn’t it be so much easier and wouldn’t we achieve our aims of social justice if we made these programs and counseling available prior?”
